RS-LiDAR-M1-Plus (Robosense Lidar M1 Plus) is an automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR that RoboSense has specially designed for mass-production vehicles. It delivers highly reliable 3D environment perception performance to ensure the safety of ADAS and AD systems. As a second-generation LiDAR, M1 has been designed with 2D MEMS chip scanning architecture, which is achieved with a simplified product structure that requires much less components. It boasts advantages including small size, high reliability, high performance, and dynamically adjustable scanning patterns. M1 boasts an exclusive intelligent functionality named "GAZE" which dynamically enhances resolution or frame rate based on the environment.

Meanwhile, M1 Plus offers smart “GAZE” function: It dynamically increases the vertical resolution of the ROI area to 0.1° to spot distant obstacles earlier and give the vehicle time to respond in advance, improving the autonomous driving experience.
Rigorous testing for safety and reliability
M1 Plus builds on the comprehensive testing, validation and certifications of the predecessor products. RoboSense leads the industry by executing over 36,000 hours of high-temperature durability test, over 24,000 hours of high-humidity test, and over 21,000 hours of cyclic temperature shock test,etc. In addition, the M platform shared with the M2/M1 Plus/M1, has obtained ISO 26262 ASIL B functional safety certification and its scanning chip has passed AEC-Q100 reliability certification.

Eye safety protection
By adopting RoboSense's innovative optoelectronic technology and functional safety real-time monitoring mechanism, M1 Plus fully meets the human eye safety requirements of international standards such as IEC60825-1 Class 1. It has been awarded human eye safety certificates by two international professional testing institutions, SGS and goebel, providing double protection for human eye safety.
